HAND MILLED SOAP

Our Soaps are French Milled soaps. Each soap takes aproximately 6 months before it is in a packagable form. We create a basic soap using a cold process method that includes beef tallow that has been rendered twice. We use water from the Holly River to mix with the lye and tallow. The basic soap is then allowed to cure for 2-3 months before we hand mill the cured soap. This is called the French Mill process. The milled portions of the soap are allowed to cure for another 1-2 months before being melted down and fragrances added. These soaps need to cure for at least 2 months before packaging. This method we feel produces the mildest soap possible. You may have noticed that our soaps are ROUND. This way a single bar of soap will comfortably fit into your hand. Our soaps like to be used. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.


Cinnamon Soap

Our Cinnamon soap is a mildly abrasive soap which lathers very well and has a spicy cinnamon aroma.

Peppermint is a wonderful "pick me up" soap. We use peppermint leaves and essential oil.

Lavender soap promotes relaxation and relieves stress. We use a natural powdered lavender buds.

Witch Hazel Soap

Witch Hazel Tea is a wonderful alcohol free astringent. The Witch Hazel we use is grown on our property as well as extracted by us.

Sandalwood Soap

Sandalwood is an antiseptic and wound healing herb. We use Red Sandalwood powder and fragrance.

Rose soap is an fragrant astringent. We use natural Rose petals and fragrance in our soap.
